AltInvoice pricing has a few different components to consider.
There is a $200 fee that includes access to the app, basic training, and support. In a 30 minute review, we will configure the app to fit your business’s particular use case. We will help you understand your options for using the app, as there are several. There is currently no charge for non-profits.
Depending on your desired integration and transaction volume, you may use one or more services that do have usage fees either monthly or per transaction. You are responsible for your relationship with those partners and fees are automatically deducted based on the method of transaction. They range from 0.5% to 4%. The majority of users will fall in the 0.5% to 1.0%. As part of your installation, we will help you figure out what the right options are.
Example 1) your client pays you in Bitcoin or some other cryptocurrency (an altcoin) to a wallet address you own, either on the web or on your computer. There is no per transaction charge. You are responsible for your wallet and converting coins on an exchange.
Example 2) your client pays you in Bitcoin and you receive US Dollars. You will pay between 0% and 1% depending on the volume of transactions and service type you choose. To qualify for 0% transaction fees there will be a monthly charge. Your funds will be deposited directly to your bank account daily or weekly.
Example 3) your client pays you in US Dollars and you receive Bitcoin. You will pay 4%.
Example 4) your client pays you in some cryptocurrency other than Bitcoin (an altcoin) and want to use a service to automate receipt of funds and fiat conversion rates in real-time. You will pay 0.5% and receive payments to your wallet daily.
So, this is not simple. Sorry. That said, we want to help you figure out the best solution for your business. Cryptocurrency is a new technology and businesses are hard-pressed to determine their level involvement.
